After the weather forecast changed late yesterday evening from a chance of thunderstorms to partly cloudy we had a storm move in bringing an inch of rain. I had already planned to do some weeding in the garden this morning. The rain made it easier to turn the lower section of the garden we had not planted with the shovel. I dug out some more grass clumps that even the tiller could not get and raked it all smooth then hoed the planted area where some small blades of grass were coming back.

We have some stuff starting to sprout up already and the one tomato plant is doing well as well as two new pepper plants.

After I finished in the garden I worked a little more on the natural area and hauled another wheel barrow of slate up to under the deck.

We did more reorganization to the kit supply stuff in the garage; a more or less constant state of affairs as supplies come in and go out. More kit work this afternoon.
