Another beautiful fall day here in Sparta. Warm, sunny, and very little wind. I had a list of outdoor projects for the morning which included spraying the grass about two feet out on both sides of the driveway with Roundup to prepare for the mulch. The tomato plants had a couple of ripe tomatoes to pick before I pulled them up. Bonnie had a peony she wanted me to dig from her yard. I split it into two small ones and the one big one and planted those on the far side of the porch. Finally I picked a bucket of apples for us to fix a dessert for dinner and some for me to cook on top of the stove.
We are repackaging food staples this afternoon.
