Sunny and warm today. Gym this morning. I work at the bookstore this afternoon from 1:30 to 5.
Tomorrow I have a meeting at noon for the Wellness center golf tournament. From there I will leave to drive down to Winston. Al called me last night to let me know a dear friend of our family passed away. He had been in hospice for a week. The Sloan’s and our family were next door neighbors going back to 1956. Anne and Gilbert were like a second set of parents to me and Frances. Anne passed away in April of 2002 from cancer. Gilbert continued to live in their house until last year when they moved him to an assisted living place. I will be back sometime late Friday afternoon.
