Gym and grocery store this morning. We have a few snow flurries flying around with winds at 15 to 25 mph and gusts over 50 through tonight. And the low will be 13.

I had a call earlier today from the nurse. Bob is spiking a slight fever and the fluid on his lungs is still an issue. The doctor is going to try draining the lungs with a needle to make sure there is not an infection there. Hopefully this will work and he will not have to have a chest tube put in. They may also be moving his picc line to make sure there is not an infection there as well. This news came later in the day after I did my usual 8am phone check. The nurses are great about keeping me informed when there are changes and updates which I really appreciate. But, every time I see 336-718 number on my phone, that is the hospital starting digits for all their departments, I go into panic mode.

You and Robert are in my thoughts daily. Your panic is understandable.
Maintaining hope and courage over the long haul like this requires a deep strength and a lot of support from friends and family.

I am glad you have a decent support structure and that you are willing to let others help. Continue to take time for self care so you have the continued endurance this health marathon requires.

    Courage.

Continued best wishes, thoughts and prayers for you both, from one of your loyal readers.
