I left around 3pm yesterday afternoon for Winston to have dinner with Nancy and Betsy at Fratellis at 5:30. Al came up early last evening to take care of Colin. I spent the night at Frances’. This morning I left her house a little before 8am when she left for work. I went to Panera Bread for breakfast then ran a couple of errands before my 10 haircut appointment.

From there I did a small Costco run before meeting Bonnie downtown at Hutch and Harris for lunch. We did our annual visit to the Deck the Halls craft show then I headed back up the mountain.

It was the first time I’ve been away over night since Bob died. It was nice to get away and I always appreciate Al coming up to take care of Colin.

The sun is shinning with temperatures in the upper 40’s. The snow has melted off some, even the large piles. Now, we are under flood watch starting tomorrow afternoon through Saturday due to a chance to 2″ of rain on top of all this snow.
