Mother Nature is providing us with a tease of spring today with temperatures in the upper 50’s, lots of sunshine, and no wind. I volunteered a shift at the bookstore then met JoAnn for lunch before coming home.
I took Colin out for an extended playtime and picked up sticks and limbs downed from the last several wind events. Yesterday afternoon I found a foot long piece of roofing shingle by the driveway. Today, I found about a two foot length by the side of the house. I called Shaw Brothers this morning to have Elaine contact their roof guy to come out and take a look up there to see what’s going on. The house is only 12 years old so the roof should still be good. But, constant 65 mph winds this winter may have taken a toll. Guess I will find out soon enough.
