I am reading a new mystery in Maddy Hunter’s Pastport to Peril series, Dutch Me Deadly. The last book the series was 2007. As with a lot of the mid-list authors she was cancelled by her publisher. I am glad she is back in print. If you travel with groups as I do with my family, these books are just too much like the real thing. Except for the murders; of course. Anyway, as you can tell from the title, Emily and her senior citizen group are in Holland. Although I have not toured outside the US, once Emily and her group arrive at their destination they use tour guides and buses. I have been on tours with some of the same characters in her books and had some of the same funny things happen.
Windy but still warm. I went to the Y this evening, making a quick stop at the Valvoline place located just down the street from the Y. The HHR is now inspected so that I can order a new tag sticker which expires next month.
