I am reading a new book in Joan Hess’ Claire Malloy series Deader Homes & Gardens. After returning from her honeymoon, Claire is house shopping since the small apartment her and daughter Caron live in is too small for three. After a fruitless search she finds her dream home in the country. But, said dream home has a former owner who was found dead in the stream that runs along the back of the property. Some family members believe it was suicide, others murder.
