Saturday

The weather has been more like fall instead of the middle of June for the last few days. After the rain and storms the early part of the week the high temperatures struggled to make it into the low 80’s, today included.

Yesterday afternoon I left at 3 to pick up mom to take her for her hair appointment then back to their house. Dad and I watched the US Open golf until mom called to let us know she was ready. We picked her up, grabbed a bite of dinner then took mom for her MRI. Afterwards I took them to the grocery store.

This morning I went to the grocery store and library, mowed the lawn, and washed my car. This afternoon we have kit stuff to do.

I am reading another Cynthia Harrod-Eagles Bill Slider mystery, Gone Tomorrow.
