Still no rain. The storms are coming out the mountains and going either east or west of us. All we are getting are the strong winds out ahead of the storms. This morning I picked up a full yard cart load of sticks for today’s pickup. Supposedly next week it is to cool off with a better chance of rain. The yard is a scraggly mess. I may mow tomorrow just to get it cleaned up.
I had several errands to run this morning before it got too hot; grocery store, library, and drop off a load stuff at Goodwill. Otherwise, I am spending the day working on kit stuff for Bob and taking reading breaks. I am reading a new Victoria Thompson mystery in her Victorian Gaslight series, Murder On Fifth Avenue.
