Where did the week go? Y Tuesday night and tonight. Wednesday morning I took my mom for a follow-up doctor appointment. Good thing I was going over there anyway since Tuesday night dad called to tell me the button that hangs the handset up on the phone in their kitchen broke off. I took one of our old phones over and installed it until Bob can order another one similar to the one they had.
Weather-wise, it is still hot and dry. Surrounding counties have had storms and rain but they dissipate by the time they get to us or go north and south of us. The good news is, that while most of the country is in a serious drought, we are looking good for the overall picture of ground moisture here in the triad area.
The yard is looking ratty again from lack of rain and the Bermuda getting high. I will mow this weekend rain or no rain.
