Happy Labor Day.
I am reading another Bill Slider mystery by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles, Dear Departed. This is the last book in the 4th Slider Omnibus. There are four books remaining to be read in the series of which the library only has two. Bob will have to track down the other two for us.
I spent the morning cleaning up and organizing the unfinished area of the basement and the work bench. Things had become cluttered around the door area between my car and the wall where the steps go upstairs. I also vacuumed out my car and cleaned the inside window and dashboard.
We hung the picture my cousin recently dad sent me after my aunt died for me to have that she had promised to me a long time ago. It shows his mom in her early teens along with her siblings their parents.
We’ve hauled a bunch of the kit stuff down to the basement. All that is left now is to move the remaining kit components to the upstairs workroom and clear out whats in the den. I need to pay some bills and get my desk cleaned up.
A storm last night brought about 3/4 of an inch of rain. The temperatures today are in the low 80’s but the humidity is about 80%. More rain and storms in the forecast for this afternoon. I have tennis and golf to watch while I do some reading this afternoon.
