25 years ago today we closed on our house. That night we brought over sleeping bags and the TV set to sleep on the floor. I can still remember how exciting it was.

As I said yesterday I took today off to get some things done around the house. And, what a beautiful day it is. Warm, clear blue skies, hardly a breeze. I pulled up all the summer bedding plants and replaced them with the pansies. Using the hand clippers I trimmed off the tall branches on the bushes. The ground and leaves were still too wet for the leaf vacuum so I used the blower on the yard, the natural areas both front and back, and the driveway. By the time finished the yard was dry enough I should have run the mower without the bag but I was too tired. It’s not that high but once they plug and seed the yard I will not mow again until we rain unless I don’t use the bag so I don’t pick up the seed.

After lunch I made a library and grocery store run. Now off to the den to watch some of my shows on streaming while I label bottles and envelopes for Bob.
