Al’s cousin Doug has a furniture repair business. They live in Seagrove, NC where Al is from. He and his wife and one of their sons drove up this morning for him to repair my sofa. The seat on the side I sit on was sinking making it so that I sat in a hole.
He and his son took it apart from the bottom and added a foam cushion to my side and the other end. He used some type of webbing material on my end to stop the springs from sinking down. Very nice of them to drive this far to make the repairs.
Al is in Winston today to attend an event but will be back sometime this evening. My friend JoAnn is staying with me today. She’s going out to pick up our dinner.
Another beautiful fall day. It’s sunny with temps in the low 50’s and breezy.
We’ve had around three and half inches of rain so far continuing the rest of the day and tonight.
Not much else going on. Al is washing a load of towels. I have more stuff to do at my desk,
Rainy, dreary day. Temps in the lower 60’s.
Al is doing laundry and other chores. I try to help when I can with simple stuff so that I am up and moving around. I can fix things in the kitchen I just can’t carry them.
I worked on some more paperwork at my desk. Slowly getting that stuff caught up.
Cloudy and cool today. We have a warm front bringing in rain tomorrow followed by the remnants of the hurricane coming inland behind it.
I had PT this morning and OT for my shower. Working on being able to bend the knee some and strengthening the leg.
Al’s gone to town to run some erands.
