Al is in Winston. I have Mary for my sitter today. The nurse and OT came this morning.
Another pretty fall day with lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 60’s and breezy. We’ve had a fairly long dry spell.

I had an appointment with my ortho doctor this afternoon. I can put some weight on the leg and wear the brace only if I need it for comfort/support. The replacement surgery will be the first of November.
Al is in Winston. I have one of my sitters for today. The only home health will be my OT for a bath.
Still nice fall weather with cool temperatures, breezy, and lots of sunshine.
Al took Frances back down the mountain yesterday after lunch.
Today I had OT, PT, and the nurse visit.
It’s a nice fall day; sunny, breezy, and cool. Al dug the last of the potatoes this morning. Garden is done for the year.
Another over night temperature in the low 40’s with mostly sunny skies. It warmed up into the lower 60’s this afternoon,
Al drove down yesterday to afternoon to meet Frances in Elkin. She does not like driving up the mountain and Elkin is about half way. They stopped at The Pines on the way to the house to pick up dinner.
This afternoon they went into town for a couple of hours. Otherwise, we are just hanging out.
44 degrees this morning with a breeze and lots of sunshine.
Only visit today was OC for my shower. I need to pay some bills and do a few other things as my desk. I can’t sit at the computer but for a short period of time so I pick and choose what I can work on.

Al is in Winston again today. I have a Home Instead sitter today. The only home health visit was my OT to help with my shower.

I had a visit from the nurse this morning then OC to help with the shower. PT just left. Time to do my afternoon infusion.
Al’s in Winston so I have Mary again today to sit with me.
Another rainy day.
Al had to go to Winston. I have a new sitter today that I hired several weeks ago to cover days Home Instead could not cover. She is private pay instead of being with an organization.
OT came this morning to help with my shower. The nurse had to stop by put some steri strips on where a couple had fallen off too soon.
I had OT to help with the shower, then the nurse came to change the dressing on my picc lie and do a blood draw. While she was finishing up PT showed up to work with my leg.
After all of them were gone my friend Donna stopped by with a casserole for dinner and some fresh green beans and to visit for awhile. She brought me a book to read and a couple of crossword puzzles books.
After some early morning rain it cleared off and warmed up into the low 70’s
