Happy New Year.
Bob and I celebrated in our usual way; asleep at midnight especially with no fireworks in the neighborhood to wake us up. I went to bed at 9 per usual to read, turned off the light at 10:30, and was asleep at whatever time Bob turned his light out. I woke up about 12:30 and Bob was snoring away.
This morning I washed down the walls in the foyer, hall, and hall bath then vacuumed and moped those floors. I spent the remainder of the day putting stuff back on shelves, tables, etc. The only room I did not touch is my office. It has to be the last since I use it to store all the other room items. I can do it next weekend. We also did not finished either side of the basement which we can do next weekend. I also have a list of little projects to work on during the winter plus the kit projects for Bob.
It’s been a drippy, damp day. Bob helped me put the bird feeder pole and feeder up I brought from my parents house. Although I cannot see if from the den sofa as I could on the deck I can look out the bathroom window. Plus, just having the feeder even on ground level will bring them back in the trees by the deck.
