I had 8:30 appointment this morning with the Clerk of Court to tie up dad’s estate. Fortunately, we had sold the house and dad had already deeded the car over to Frances and Al, so there was not much left to do. I had list of documents I needed to take with me showing joint assets, etc. An hour later I was out of there after signing some paperwork and paying to probate the will.

I had intended to leave at 4 today to come home and mow. With all the rain and now the hot dry weather the grass is really growing, especially the Bermuda. Alas, it was not to be, as I had to stay to help with the same project I was doing the other night when I had to stay late. Bob had a casserole in the oven which finished cooking just as I arrived home. I ate then mowed the lawn. It’s not all that hot, about 86 degrees, but the humidity is stifling and not a hint of a breeze.
