The contractor got here about 8:30 this morning, after I left for work, to start on the little repair projects I have been wanting to get done. He replaced the four rotting columns on the front porch with fiberglass (Bob said aluminum on his page but he mis-remembered), replaced the rotted back threshold at the back door and installed a new full glass white storm door with bronze hardware. Just little things that need to be done to make the appearance of the house look nice. Bob said they were finished and gone by 12:15. I have to paint the columns this weekend and will also paint the wood strip and threshold at the front door and the one around the back door.
