I am reading a paperback from my TBR shelf, Murder Past Due by Miranda James. This is a new author and first book in the A Cat in the Stacks Mystery series set in Athena, MS. The main character(s) are a widowed librarian who works in the rare book room at the nearby Athena College library and brings his pet Maine coon cat to work with him.
Messy day with lots of fog, drizzle, and temperatures just barely high enough to keep the snow and ice away. Visibility out the tenth floor window was zero all day. I had a 5:00 hair cut appointment.
