I am home, the surgery went well. We met Frances and Al in lobby of the hospital at 7:30 Thursday morning. Bob sat with me in the holding room until they took me to OR. I was in the room around 3:30. Frances went to work and I sent Bob home. Mimi helped us out with Colin for the day.
I am home a day earlier this time on Saturday instead of Sunday. Dr. Howe has put several new procedure into the operation to speed up recovery and going home time.
Of course, the first order of business was a shower. Time to settle on the couch to rest. So very glad to be home.
