I started the morning by doing a small repair to the front porch. Twenty plus year ago the neighborhood was hit with a small  unconfirmed tornado the weather folks called a downdraft. When it lifted the porch roof it also shifted the cement pad on the porch causing one of the columns to fall into the window as well as taking off part of the roof of the house. We are now on our second roof  and have new windows and columns in the front. To repair the porch the cement pad was dug out inside the brick structure and filed with cement dust and bricked in with half bricks. It has sunk in places where it has settled underneath but has otherwise held up fine. This morning when I went out one of bricks against the foundation of the house has fallen in. I kept the leftover dust in a bucket all this time for just this reason. I pulled out the fallen brick and the two smaller ones, filled in underneath with the dust and placed everything back, good as new.

This afternoon we looked at all the seeds germinating for the seed kits. Over half are fully germinated while a few we have to check on again later in the week. I also pulled down all the boxes from the attic to see what is up there for repacking of stuff or to use for general packing.
