Happy New Year. We have the quietest New Year’s Eve in a long time. No fireworks or guns going off to scare to the dog. I was well asleep by midnight but not long after Colin woke us barking at a bunch of sirens going down hwy 21.
This morning I started working on taking down the Christmas decorations. I had them all down and packed away by early afternoon. After a break I vacuumed and dusted and started putting furniture back where it belonged or where I had decided it would go after the holiday arrangement.
The colder weather moved in over night taking us back down into the mid 30’s for overnight lows. It barely made it to the low 40’s today and is, of course, cloudy and windy.
