Gym this morning followed by license plate agency to renew my tag, library, and grocery store. By the time I changed the sheets and a few other chores it was time to fix lunch.
I visited with my neighbor Bonnie this afternoon. Last time I was up she told me to come gets some of her hens and chicks plants. She also had a couple of small peonies growing in her yard that kept getting mowed down and wanted me to get those.
After the gardening part of the visit we were sitting in her closed in porch area with the door open when our neighbor on the other side of me, Vicki stopped by for a visit.
I have two of the 28 galvanized wash tubs. One was mine and one was dads. Since I don’t need two I put one on the corner of the porch stoop, filled it about 2/3 full of dirt from where I dug out the bed along the porch, then filled it the rest of the way with potting soil and planted the hens and chicks in there. They need a lot of room to spread. I put the two little peonies in the bed by the porch stoop.
