House cleaning chores this morning. We are gradually getting the upstairs back in order, again. Things are always a little cluttered when we are working on kit inventory. Speaking of which, we have kits to put together this afternoon.

I finally had a chance to get out to the garden. I dug a few more potatoes and picked about a half a bucket of green beans. Lots of squash but I gave the big zucchini and zephyr to Jackie. They have their tents set up across the street in the vacant lot for the 21 yard sale. I kept the small yellow and zucchini for either me or Frances. Lots of tomatoes but they are not ripe.

Several of the sun flowers became so tall they toppled over. I pulled up the roots and cut the stalks into small enough pieces for a black trash bag. Al gave me a bucket of vinca to transplant. I put it out and watered all the potted plants.
