Hello from snowy Sparta. It was 22 degrees with about 8″ to 10″ of snow. Colin went down to his favorite back corner, did his business, and came running back to the house.

I cleaned the bathrooms and vacuumed. We just came back in from outside. We now have over a foot of snow with more to come all day. I cleared off the bird feeders and shoveled the porch and the steps. I threw some bird seed on the porch so the little guys could get some food. My resident woodpecker and a cardinal have been to the mesh feeder.

A couple of months ago I bought Colin a 12″ Hol-ee Roller Dog ball for snow so we would not loose the ball like we did with the small regular ball. It gives him something to play with in the snow even though toss and fetch is out of the question. However, my rubber snow boots are 14″ tall. Future outdoor play times will require snow pants to go over the boots.
