28 degrees, sunny, and calm when I left for the gym this morning. When I got back home I dug up the aster that is in the little bed by the side porch. It wanted to split it and replant it before I mulched that bed which is all I left to do for the mulching project.
I planted part back in the bed and part in the bed by the driveway. I also sprayed Roundup along the edges of the mulch beds to keep the grass from growing over and hit some of the weeds that have already grown up through the mulch.
By the time I finished it was time to shower and eat lunch before I had to leave again. I drove over to Ennis to pick up JoAnn then we went to the Friends of the Library meeting. Her husband has her car. She came home with me and he will pick her up later this afternoon when I gets off from work.
It’s a lovely sunny day but very chilly. Temperatures are just barely in the 40’s and breezy.
