As usual, it’s been another busy Saturday. I drove Bob out to mail kits this morning, dropped him off back home then went over to my folks house. I had a couple of small outdoor projects I needed to do for them. It’s really a nice day weather wise with temperatures this morning in the low 70’s. Last night we had a horrific thunderstorm come through around 9pm. Lots of thunder, lightning and heavy rain. We got about an inch and a half of rain but other parts of the city had some major flooding of the roads including 3 1/2 inches on the folks side of town.
I took a dry shirt and clean shoes to change into before we went to Fireside Subs for lunch. I took the folks back home and stopped at the grocery store on the way home to pick up a few things we needed for next week.
Lots of big white fluffy clouds along with some gray ones and a good breeze made of decent conditions for mowing this afternoon. Can’t complain about mid 80’s and 56% humidity in July. Even though the ground was still wet and muddy the grass was dry. I edged and swept up finished up around 4:00 for the day.
