Diaries

Mostly sunny today with temps still in the comfortable range of upper 70’s and humid but with a nice breeze. Things are getting dry. We need rain but not much in sight except for small chances of thundershowers.

While the clothes were in the washer I did a few organizational chores in the garage that had been on my to-do list. The hanging pots in the sun needed some water. I harvested a small yellow squash off the plant on the deck. I’ll fix that for dinner to go on the chicken Alfredo.

Sunny today and still cool temps with highs again in the low to mid 70’s with a slight breeze.

I did another shift at the bookstore today. Kind of slow for a Thursday. Now time to give some attention to Colin.

Cloudy and cool this morning when I left for Winston. It was supposed to be a rainy day with rain here in the morning and lots of rain down in Winston. It is sunny but still cool with temps only getting into the upper 60’s.

I stopped at Home Depot to pick up furnace filters then across the street to Costco. Picked up everything on my list. Now that I have the new freezer picked chicken, hamburger, and boneless pork chops plus pantry items and other odds and ends.

Mostly sunny this morning with clouds moving in this afternoon. High today only in the low 70’s with lows back down into the 60’s.

I went to the gym this morning then did a few outdoor chores; watering plants, pulling weeds, etc.

We had our first Friends of the Library meeting today at 1 pm since March 2, of 2020. Not a lot in attendance but good to see a few folks I do not see at the bookstore.

Sunny today and not as warm with highs in the low 80’s and a little less humid.

I did the laundry this morning then worked the afternoon shift at the bookstore.
