Partly cloudy and breezy this morning turned into sunshine and another warm day this afternoon.
We had another small earthquake this morning about 10:30 Loud bang and shook the house but no damage.
I was waiting on my friend Nancy to get here from the Winston area when it hit. She got here around 12:15. We went into town to eat at Muddy Creek then did a few stores before coming back to the house. She just left a few minutes ago.

Sunny and hot today with highs in the upper 80’s. Our real first hot day of the summer.
I stopped by the bookstore to return and pick up books on the way to volunteering at the bookstore of about three hours or so. Really busy today which is good.
Freezer was delivered about 4:30 yesterday afternoon.
Sunny and warm with a breeze. Temperatures in the low 80’s with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. We had a brief one yesterday afternoon but not much in the way of rainfall.
I spent the morning outside doing gardening chores; pulling up weeds and grass, trimming back the quince bush, etc.
Freezer is to be delivered sometime late this afternoon.

Yesterday ended up being a real slow day for the yard sale. We broke things down around 3:30. Al loaded several boxes of stuff for me to drop off at Cares. We cleaned up then went out dinner at the Mexican restaurant.
Frances and Al left around 9 am to head back home. I spent the morning doing the usual house cleaning chores and doing a load of towels.
Partly cloudy and humid with temperatures in the upper 70’s. Hopefully we will not get a stray thunderstorm this afternoon.
Frances and Al set up again today for the yard sale. Traffic so far today has been very slow compared to yesterday. Maybe things will pick up this afternoon.
Still some haze from the wildfires hanging around. Mostly sunny today with highs in the upper 70’s.
Frances and Al arrived last evening for the weekend.
We are doing the highway 21 yard sale in the driveway today and tomorrow. The sale runs up and down the highway from here all the way down the mountain. Frances brought up stuff and I some things. I live just off the highway. There are a few folks set up in the vacant lot across the street.
We did it three years ago and had fairly good success. So are lots of lookers and a few sales.
What I thought was haze yesterday is actually smoke from the wild fires out in west. The entire states is under an air quality alert. So, we have scattered clouds and sun plus the smoke haze with temperatures in the upper 70’s.
I had to hang around the house today to wait on the plumber to come and install a new water filter for the septic system. He showed up about the same time as James showed up to mow.
While I waited I took care of a few gardening chores.
Mostly sunny today, hazy, and breezy. Temps in the low 80’s.
Volunteered at the bookstore for a few hours.
This afternoon need to water all the plants.
