29 degrees this morning with a brisk wind. Rain moving in tonight bringing some warmer temperatures. Thankfully, it will be rain and not white stuff of any kind.
Gym and drug store for today’s activities other the usual odds and end chores around the house.

30 degrees, sunny, and windy this morning. We may reach 40 degrees today but windy. Otherwise, not much else going on.
A little warmer today with highs in the mid 40’s, lots of sunshine, and calm winds. However, the snow is still hanging around on the ground.
Frances and Al left for home around mid morning. I am doing laundry and finishing up putting the last of things back where they belong.
11 degrees this morning. Mid 20’s this afternoon with lots of sunshine but the winds have picked up.
Frances and Al are helping me take down and pack away the Christmas decorations, vacuuming, and cleaning things up. Could not do it without them.
Merry Christmas. We have a white Christmas which is very rare for us in North Carolina. It started snowing last night around 9 pm. We have maybe an inch but it’s pretty. Temperatures with the wind chill are below zero today. High will be 16 degrees.
We are opening presents and eating. Lot’s of eating. Snack and finger food for lunch. Ham, mac-n-cheese, yams and rolls for dinner.

Rain, heavy at times, today. It is currently 46 with 15 to 20 mph wind gusts. The temperature by tonight will be 22 with snow showers and gusty winds. Fortunately we are getting just heavy rain before the temps drop. If not we would have had a major snow or ice event.
I had a chiropractor appointment this morning.

Winds were still howling this morning with gusts over 60 mph. The rafters rattle last night.
They finally calmed down this afternoon to just windy with temps in the 40’s and wind chill in the low 30’s but lots of sunshine.
I had to go into town to pick up a library book, get gas, and pick up something from Joyce.
