I finally was able to sit at my desk long enough to enter all the prescription receipt for the last three months into my medical spreadsheets.

The Al set up the transport chair by my place on the sofa. He put the pile of paperwork that has been sitting on my desk for three months in the chair. I used a tray to work on and sorted all the that mess into folders. Now I just need to make sure those bills are in the spread sheet.

I will work on that a little at a time. But getting it organized was the biggest part of the job.

Al did a load of towels and is running the vacuum.

The sun has come out and burned off the fog. It’s supposed to be a nice day with highs in the upper 60’s and no rain.

Pam, my hair dresser, has been cutting my hair for 40 years. While I was in the rehab center she came over the gave me a haircut. She is coming here today to give me a haircut since it’s so hard for me to  get around since I can’t put weight on the left leg.

It’s been a wet, dreary day. I had PT and OT today. While my physical therapist was here we tried out seeing if I could get in the front seat of the car. With the seat all the way back I had no problem which means I now do not have to lay stretched out on the backseat.

Al went to the grocery store this morning then this afternoon we went to the bank and the drugstore. I, of course, stayed in the car at the drugstore. But, it was nice to get out of the house.

Al had to go to Winston again today.  I have the same lady I had yesterday to be here with me.

She vacuumed and helped to do my laundry. Visits today from OC for a shower and the nurse.

Lots of rain from another tropical system today and tonight.

Al had to go to Winston today for several appointments. He would be gone too long for me to be here by myself.

I have a Home Instead person staying with me today to all the things that Al normally does during the day that I can’t do right now. It’s working out great.

A beautiful first day of fall. And, the second day frost. We left at 8:15 for Al to take me down to Winston for a follow up doctor appointment. He also has 100 year old lady he helps take to doctor and other appointments.  Just so happens she had an appointment ten minutes after mine.

I had to ride laying down in the back seat because of my knee. We picked up her then Al dropped me off for my appointment then too her on to her doctor. They finished up then  came back to pick me up. Took her home and was back here by 1:40.

I managed to drop my cell phone in a bucket of water this morning. We tried the bag of rice but no joy. My sister, spent the morning going over to Verision to find a similar flip phone then Al drove down to Jonesville to meet her halfway so I would have a replacement today.

I am reading Death at Glamis  Castle by Robin Paige.

Hurrican Sally made landfall sometime this morning then is headed for us in the Carolina’s.  Al had to cancel his plans to go to Winston and my friends canceled theirs to come up here for a visit. Heavy rain and winds is not a good day to drive to the mountains,

I had OT and the nurse come today.
