48 degrees and foggy with rain when we went out this morning. More of the same for the rest of the day. Temperatures in the low 50’s with a chance of storms this afternoon and tonight.

54 degrees, partly cloudy, and breezy this morning when I drove into town. I walked the path at the park then stopped at Food Lion. I picked up milk, lettuce, and a few items I needed to restock the pantry.

The rain yesterday amounted to just over half an inch. Sunny and breezy today but warm with temperatures in the low 60’s.

Watching the new season of Bosch and found another old British TV drama, Peak Practice. It stars Kevin Whately from Inspector Morse.

44 degrees and raining this morning. Yucky weather day. Rain, periods of fog, and breezy with temperatures in the low 50’s. More rain tonight with a chance of strong storms.

I ended up doing my walking downstairs then did my weight workout in the garage.

45 degrees, sunny, and breezy this morning. I drove into town to walk at the park pathway for a change of scenery. Today is sunny but breezy with temperatures in the low 60’s.

On the way back from town I stopped at the little grocery/plant shop just down the road. No one in town or the area has my seed potatoes. Shortage this year so I just came home and ordered a bag from Amazon.

But, they did have a lot of nice looking bedding plants they were getting ready to put out. I may go back up there this afternoon and pick some up. I can keep them in the garage until next week.

I just finished planting six pots of peas and put them out on the deck.

50 degrees, cloudy, and windy this morning when I went for my walk. We are under another wind advisory through 10 pm tonight. Winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts over 40. Even though it was windy this morning I decided to walk at the church. Gusts were only in the 25 mph range then but have picked up this afternoon with partly cloudy skies.

I was back home and doing my weight work when Joyce texted me. She was painting at the bookstore again today. I told her I would meet her around noon. While she painted I worked for a couple of hours on more of our cleaning/reorganizing projects.

Happy Anniversary to Frances and Al.

44 degrees and raining this morning. No problem since I had to hang around here for a 10 am gym staff meeting on Zoom which lasted about 45 minutes.

The sun came out a around 12:30 and warmed things up into the 60’s with not much wind. I was just getting ready to go walk when Joyce called to see if I could come help her with a couple of things at the bookstore.

We about 3 hours doing some more moving things around and organizing then I left to come home.

House cleaning chores this morning.

45 degrees, partly cloudy and breezy when I left to go to the church for my walk. We had some rain during the night but not much. Glad I walked early. As the morning progressed the winds have picked up with 20 to 25 mph gusts. The sun has come out but it’s only 48 degrees with a high today maybe in the low 50’s.

Laundry and other assorted odds and ends to do this afternoon.

50 degrees, sunny, and breezy when I left to go into town for my walk at the park. While I was in town I decided to stop at Food Lion. We only have the one chain grocery store with a couple of small country stores.

I was surprised to find everything on my list and picked up some extra items I was surprised to find that I wanted. Shelves are still sparse in places but they had milk, juice, lettuce, and, apples which were the essentials on my list.

Since the last time I was there, two weeks or more, they had signs on the aisles making them one way in opposite directions every aisle. It took a bit getting used to and a few folks either did not see them or ignored them. Other than that; a few folks were wearing mask and everyone was obeying the 6 feet plus rule.

40 degrees, sunny, and windy this morning. Another sunny, windy day though a bit warmer with highs in the low 50’s.

I finished the mulch project this morning. It looks good. I had just the right amount for the job. It took a couple of hours because I kept taking breaks, not to rest, but to go in the garage and get out of the wind.

I wanted to get it done this morning before James shows up to mow after lunch.
