Chilly and damp with off and on rain showers. We may get some thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Pain meds are making light duty things bearable. I tidied the kitchen counters and island. I can’t stand things to be a mess.

Another warm sunny day with 15 to 20 mph winds.

Back to the doctor today. Test were all negative. He gave me a stronger pain med and is going through the request process to see if I qualify for an MRI.

Temperatures in the mid 70’s today. I am still crippled with the back issues. Fortunately, I can function well enough to take care of Colin’s needs. This is first time I’ve been down since Bob died. Makes it hard not to have some help, but it is what it is. I have a close friend who will come over to help if I need her but so far we are managing.

No way I attempted any house cleaning chores. Hopefully get some answers tomorrow.

Not much to report. I’ve been dealing with middle of back spasm since Monday evening. Saw the doctor this morning to get some pain meds.

38 degrees and sunny with 40 mph wind gusts. I did my exercises indoors this morning since I was meeting Joyce at bookstore around noon since the winds were not supposed to die down until late this afternoon.

I worked a couple of hours doing odd jobs while Joyce worked on the painting. The winds have settled down a little though they are still gusting at 20 mph and it’s warmed up into the mid 50’s.  Lows tonight back down into the mid 40’s. We have had a cold, windy month with temps below average.

I am reading Death At Epsom Downs by Robin Paige.

Overnight we had a couple of mild thunderstorms with some off and on heavy rain; about an inch total. Today is windy and cloudy with temps in the low 50’s. Wind advisory from this evening through tomorrow morning with another chance of storms.

House cleaning chores this morning.
