37 degrees and sunny this morning when I left for the gym. The winds picked up by the time I headed back to the gym to work. Temperatures warmed up into the low 60’s this afternoon and the winds have died back down. Frost warning again tonight.
39 degrees, sunny, and windy when I left for the gym. Quick grocery store stop on the way back home then back to work. The winds have died down to 10 to 15 mph gusts from the over 50 last night and this morning and temperatures have warmed up to a balmy 49 degrees.
Frost advisory for tonight. If we do get a frost I doubt it will hurt the the bedding and hanging pots, especially the pots hanging from the porch. If it does I will pull them up Saturday. I have the potted plant in the scarecrow that sits on the edge of the porch up by the house so it should be okay.

47 with drizzle and fog this morning when I left for the gym. Then it was home and back to work my shift. We had perhaps a half of inch of rain. This afternoon the sun came out but the wind is blowing 25 to 35 mph gusting to 50 with a low of 36 for tonight.
Another cool morning in the upper 40’s and breezy but warmed up into the mid 60’s.
Rain is supposed to be moving in tonight. I volunteered at the bookstore this morning.
I found some Goo Gone for latex paint removal at the local hardware store. Guess I will give it a try this afternoon.

47 degrees, sunny, and breezy this morning when I left for the gym. Home and then back to work my midday shift.
It was very fall like this morning but temperatures have warmed up this afternoon in the low 70’s. The cool night will hopefully help the leaves to turn.
56 degrees with clouds and fog.
I changed the sheets on the bed. While they were washing and drying I did the house cleaning chores. Then, Colin and I went outside to get some gardening chores taken care off. I hoed the garden where a few weeds and bits of grass came up then weeded the beds along the porch and driveway. The zinnias needed deadheaded. I watered the flowers in the hanging pots and on the porch. They are still looking pretty good this late into the season.
After I put a load of clothes in to wash I went downstairs to work on the painted room. I finished pulling off the rest of the tape; I pulled some Thursday and Friday afternoon. Even though we tapes, paint still managed to seep underneath along the crown molding and chair rail. This is the first time I have painted a house with cherry molding. It’s a bear to tape the way it’s cut and a pain to get paint off. And, being a messy painter that I am, I still managed to get paint where there was no tape. I worked about an hour then came up to put the clothes in to dry and give some attention to Colin before going back down to work some more.
After lunch I used a small brush to touch up spots we missed, mostly along the chair rail and in a couple of corners. I put the switch and outlet covers back on and did a little more cleanup before calling it quits for the day. JoAnn is coming over this afternoon to hang out for awhile.

47 degrees and sunny this morning when I left for the gym. Then it was home and back to work my midday shift. It’s a beautiful day today with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the low 70’s. Great fall weather.

Al and I started on painting the room first thing this morning finishing the first coat by 9am. While the paint was drying Al caulked the back wall in the unfinished area he did not caulk last year where I still have water coming in. After a light lunch we put on a second coat.
Al left a little after 2 for home. Cloudy and cool today but no more rain.
