Cold and windy this morning with snow showers. Highs today in the upper 20’s and back down into the teens tonight.
I have a busy day ahead. Went to the gym for my workout. This afternoon I have Friends of the Library Christmas party then out to dinner with some friends.
We had nice day yesterday. I worked on decorating the tree. Frances and Al spent the day relaxing watching Christmas movies. We went out to dinner at Muddy Creek then back home.
It was cold and windy yesterday but lots of sunshine. Today is a bit warmer with highs in the mid 30’s with a slight chance of a snow shower this afternoon. Lows back down in the upper 20’s tonight.
They left this morning around 9:30. I did the usual Sunday cleaning chores and first of the month billing stuff here at my desk. The house is all decorated and ready for Christmas. Lot’s of great leftovers to eat during the week.
We had a nice Thanksgiving Day. Frances and Al cooked Cornish hens, green beans, sweat potatoes, and apples.
This morning we went to get my Christmas tree. Went to the usual tree lot but there was not much to choose from so they took us over to their choose and cut lot. Prices the same as last year.
It’s cold and windy with highs today in the mid 30 and down into teens. I will spend the day decorating the tree. They are fixing pork tenderloins for dinner.
Cloudy and cool today with highs in the mid 40’s and calm winds.
A busy day at the store. Several large purchases help to put us well over $100.00’s. Also had several nice donations come in to work on.
Frances and Al are on their way up the mountain.
Cold and windy. We had a dusting of snow yesterday and last night. Today was a high in the low 40’s but 30 to 40 mph winds plus higher gusts.
It was an off and on day at the store. We had a couple of nice donations and did make close to $200.00. Store was either empty or full of customers.
From there I went to Donna’s for dinner. Rigatoni with chicken and a side of asparagus and cherry pie for dessert. Yum.
I left for Winston this morning. Ran a couple of errands before meeting my friends from the Firm at Cin Cin Berger for lunch. Great to get to see them again.
From there I went to my haircut appointment then drove back up the mountain. Temperatures were in the upper 40’s at the foot of the mountain. By the time I made it up the mountain temps had dropped to 37 with snow showers. The grass is slightly covered in snow here at the house but nothing is falling right now. Winds are gusting in the 40 to 50 mph range.
Cloudy and cool today with highs in the low 60’s.
I went to my cardiac rehab this morning.
Betsy and Nancy arrived around 11:15 from Winston. We had a nice visit then went into town to have lunch at Crave then do some shopping in town.
They left about 3 to head for home.
