Happy New Year.

A sunny but chilly day with highs in the upper 30’s. We had howling winds last night and this morning. Winds have calmed down but still gusting in the 10 to 15 mph range this afternoon.

I watched the parade this morning. This afternoon I have first of year “office” stuff to do. I need to set up new file folders for the year as well as spread sheets on the computer.

A quiet day otherwise.

41 degrees and sunny when I left for Winston this morning. I ran a couple of errands then met Bonnie for lunch at Carriage House. From there on to my haircut then back up the mountain.

It was 64 degrees in the flatland with lots of sunshine. High here is in the low 50’s and windy as always but sunny after rain and storms yesterday.

Frances and Al left yesterday morning for home. I worked my usual day at the store. We did over $200 so had a great day.

Rain over night and this morning with about half an inch. Cool and cloudy most of the day with highs in the mid 50’s.

Not as busy with sales at the store today, but, we took in a 156 box donation. Took about an hour and a half for the three of folks that were donating the books plus myself and Joyce to get them unloaded from the truck and stored in the back room. We will have books to process for a few weeks.

I went to the gym this morning then stopped by the library and the grocery store.

This afternoon I went over to Donna’s for a crafting afternoon.

Mostly sunny and warm today with highs in the mid to upper 50’s. Late this afternoon the skies turned dark and it poured down in sheets.

We had a good day at the store. Almost made $100.00. Thankfully the rain slacked off about the time I was leaving the store so I did not get soaked going to the car.

Yesterday we had some early morning freezing rain but it warmed up to light drizzle in the afternoon. Today is warm with temperatures in the low 50’s and more drizzle.

Went to the gym this morning and ran a couple of errands while in town. Odds and end stuff this afternoon.

Our best day yet this week at the store. We finally did well over $100.00 after having low sales all week. Some regulars and a few folks from out of town. Had several big sales which helped the end total.

Two inches of rain from last night until mid-morning. Temperatures were in the mid 50’s when I left for the store. After the torrential rains moved out we had snow showers and the temperature dropped to 38 degrees in an hour and half. Sun cam out this afternoon but now we have wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range and maybe higher. We are now at 34 but will drop down into the teens tonight with the wind chill in single digits or below.

So, with the cranky weather we had a slow day with customers. Joyce worked on getting out more Christmas stuff. I worked on a good size donation most of the day. We also did come cleanup in the back storage room as well.
