Sunny and 43 degrees when I left for Winston this morning.
I ran one errand before going to my 11 am haircut appointment then me Bonnie for lunch at a really good Mexican restaurant, La Botana.
From there it was back up the mountain. A beautiful day to be out and about. We have warmed up again in the low 70’s and calm winds.
Happy birthday to my sister Frances.
The day here started out cloudy and cool. The sun finally came out this afternoon and warmed up into the low 60’s.
Gym this morning. Spent the afternoon at Donna’s doing craft things.
I left yesterday morning for Winston. Arrived at Frances and Al’s around 9:30. After getting my stuff in the house we left for Lexington, NC just a short drive from their house. It was warm and sunny but very windy.
Spent a nice half day shopping and having a lunch then headed back to their house. After a short break we left again. We stopped at the JoAnn store to see what they had left in their going out of business sale where I picked up some craft supplies.
Then we went on to Firebirds for a really nice early birthday celebration for Frances then stopped at Michael’s to check to see what they had in the way of craft supplies on the way back home.
This morning I made a Costco run on the way out of town. Got home around 12:30. Started a load of laundry while I unloaded the car and put all the stuff away. It’s sunny but chilly here and thankfully the wind is not blowing.
Gusting winds and heavy rain started just after midnight. Had almost 2 inches and the winds kept me up most of the night. The sun came out this morning and temps rose into the mid 50’s. Clouds rolled in this afternoon and brought in some of and on rain showers. Temps are supposed to plummet down into the upper 20’s by morning which means more gusty winds.
A slow day at the store. Joyce and I changed the window and the front table for March. We had a few customers but a weak sales day. Had a couple of donations come in.
From work I went to Donna’s for dinner and played with the dogs.
Gusty winds last night and all day today up around 35 to 40 mph. Sunny skies today with highs in the low 50’s. The winds are bringing in a cold front tonight for tomorrow.
We had a good day at the store. Half price paperback day which brings in a lot of folks just for the sale. We also had several nice donations to process in between customers.
