Partly cloudy today with temperatures in the upper 20’s and 40 mph wind gusts. We’ve had snow showers off and on.
After lunch we drove over to Independence, VA to Food City. They found several items they had not been able to find at their stores in Winston. I picked up the chicken breasts I like and some more thin pork chops.
Frances is making enchiladas for dinner.
We had a pretty good round of thunderstorms last night for a several hours bringing almost an inch of rain. Lots of big rumbles and bright lightening. Today is mostly sunny with off and on snow showers, temperatures in the low 30’s and winds gusts close to 40 mph.
A very slow day at the bookstore. We did make the $50.00 mark but all those sales were this afternoon.
Frances and Al are on their way up.

I drove over to Galax, VA this morning to Wal-Mart. Found most everything on my list. Hardly anyone in the store. A good time to go.
This afternoon need to change the sheets and do a few odds and ends.
Rain today with breezy conditions and temperatures hovering around or just above freezing. We are under a winter weather advisory for some frozen precipitation and a few flurries but nothing major.
I am spending the day doing laundry and putting things back out on tables and hanging back up pictures, etc. in the den, foyer bath, and dinning room. Armed with Windex, canned, air, dust cloths, and furniture polish I will try to get as much done today as I feel like it. Everything gets cleaned before it gets put back. I get my bedroom good another weekend. Kitchen as been done.
Sunny today and breezy with temperatures in the low 50’s.
They delivered the fridge around 11:15 this morning. That gave me enough time to wipe it down inside and get everything back in the fridge section before I had to leave for Winston for my haircut appointment.
While I was waiting on the delivery I did some cleaning in the dining room and den.
This afternoon I will move the stuff that goes in this freezer from the garage one and them perhaps start working on getting things out of the closet and back where the belong in the dining room and den.
