Sunny and warm today with temperatures in the upper 50’s and calm winds.

George and Johnny finished installing the deck rails and cables this afternoon. He will come back in the about six weeks to double check the cable tautness and stain the posts and rails.

Since I had to go into town this morning to drop off and pick up books at the library I decided to go to the gym again today to do some cardio work.

This afternoon I have a couple of household things to do but otherwise not much else going on.

Sunny today with temperatures in the mid 40’s and calmer winds.

George and Johnny are working on the building the deck rails and installing the cables. At least they have warmer weather to be working outside.

I went to the gym, bank, and grocery store. They were stocking the shelves like crazy. I was able to get milk, lettuce, and a few odds and ends for the pantry.

Sunny but cold again today with temperatures in the upper 30’s with 10 to 15 mph winds. We are under a wind advisory for tonight with gusts closet to 50.

George came this morning to take down the old deck railings and pickets to begin installing the new rails next week.

We had a very busy day at the bookstore. A lot of folks from out of town. We almost broke the $200.00 ceiling. It was a very successful day meeting lots of nice folks and customers finding things were looking for specifically.

Sunny but cold with temperatures in the upper 30’s and breezy. We had upper teens for a low this morning and again for tomorrow morning. Winds are making it feel like the upper 20’s.

We had a moderate day of sales and customers in the store. We were scarce with volunteers so I manned the store by myself. I had a load of stuff to price and put on the shelves that the volunteers unpacked and cleaned up yesterday.

Sunny but cold today with highs in the low 30’s and breezy.

The temperature was 29 degrees when I left for the gym this morning.  I went to the library to pick up and return books, stopped at the drugstore, then back home.

Not much else going on this afternoon other than filling the bird feeders and doing a few odds and ends around the house.

Sunny today but chilly with temperatures in the upper 30’s with a breeze.

Slow sales and customers at the bookstore today except for people bringing in donations. I worked all day removing price tags off the fronts of books and pricing. Joyce worked on dismantling a table of books in preparation for putting out holiday books and Pratt shelved what I priced.

Fog and rain today. We are under a winter weather advisory but so far the temperature is holding at 34 degrees.

I waited until late morning to go to the gym to make sure the roads were just wet then back home again.

This afternoon I will change the sheets and do a few odds and ends around the house. Time to make up another batch of barbecue sauce to go on my canned Costco chicken so I’ll do that for dinner tonight. Once batch is good for about six meals or so. I keep it in the fridge in canning jars.

29 degrees this morning with a good frost. Today is sunny but chilly with highs in the upper 30’s and breezy.

I drove over to Galaxa, VA this morning to Wal-Mart to pick up assorted food and non-food items. They most of what I was looking for. I needed a gift for the Friends of the Library Christmas party and some miscellaneous personal items as our donation to the local food pantry this year. Pat stopped by to check to see what they needed. They said they had a lot of request for those items but did not get much in the way of donations.

On the way home I drove on in to town to get gas and stop at Food Lion to pick up milk and lettuce greens then home.

Sunny today but cold with highs in the low 30’s and 15 to 20 mph winds gusting to 35.

I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. This afternoon laundry and doing a few things at my computer.
