I had somewhere between 4 and 5 inches of rain from Nicole. Today was sunny, warm, and breezy with temperatures in the low 60’s until around 3 pm. The clouds rolled in bringing another round of rain showers but it did  not amount to much. Tonight winds will pick up bringing in the cold front that will drop temperatures down into the upper 30’s by morning.

We had a fairly busy day at the bookstore. Again, quite a few out town folks but they are regulars along with some of our local regulars. We did break the $100.00 ceiling.

Nicole arrived this morning. Temperatures are in the low 60’s right now. It’s been pouring rain off and on all day with some periods of no rain. It would be pouring one minute and not the next. The river I go over into town was way up and roaring.

Despite the nasty weather we had customers off and on all day. Most were in town for the weekend. We even broke the $100,00 ceiling mostly because of several big sales.

Cloudy today with temperatures in the mid 50’s and breezy. I rained sometime overnight but not enough to register in the outdoor rain gauge. The remnants of Nicole are coming for us tonight and tomorrow. We are under a flood watch with a potential for 2 to 4 inches of rain.

I went to the gym this morning then stopped at the library to pick up a couple of books. On the way home I stopped in town to run a couple of errands then home for the day,

The bookstore was busy this morning but things slacked off this afternoon. Customers were mostly from out of town visiting for the day and wandering around town. We almost broke the $50 mark but it was a good day anyway.

I went to the gym this morning then stopped by the grocery store. They had my milk, lettuce, and half carton of eggs. I also picked up a couple of other odds and end.

This afternoon I had Friends of the Library meeting at 1 pm then back home. Filled the bird feeders and dumped the mum. I have several outdoor chores that need taken care of but will have to wait until all this eye stuff is over.

Rain, fog, and drizzle today with temperatures in the mid 60’s. It poured off and on all day in town. I’ve only had about half an inch here.

Despite the nasty we were busy all day at the store. It was half price paperback day but most of our traffic was a few regulars but mostly tourist in town for the day or the weekend. We broke the $200.00 ceiling.

In between manning the sales desk I helped Keli and Pat do some moving books and rearranging a couple of sections. Since I can’t lift or bend over I mostly had to alphabetize books to hand to them to shelf. Anyway, it was good day all around.

I had my annual physical this morning. My family doctor left the practice last year. I am now seeing their new PAC which I really like.

From there I dropped books off at the library and went to the grocery store. No small 2% milk or carton of eggs but they had lettuce and some items I grabbed to stock up the pantry and fridge.

Not much else going on.
