Mostly sunny today with a high in the mid 70’s. The weather gods missed it completely yesterday. A brief shower early in the morning then in the afternoon it cleared up and no rain at all. Very little chance for today.
I did yard chores this morning. Trimmed down the tall flowers in the butterfly garden, dead headed flowers, and pulled grass and weeds. I watered the hanging pots but with very little chance of rain I will most likely need to water the other pots this afternoon.
Today is overcast and cool with temperatures in the low 70’s and off and on rain/thunderstorms all day.
I did a good vacuuming and dusting this morning since I let it go last week to work in the yard. Bathrooms are cleaned and things are tidy once again.
I have a load of laundry and the towels to do this afternoon.
Mostly sunny this morning. Temperatures today were in the low to mid 70’s but it was humd.
I spent the day at the bookstore. We had a brief rain shower around mid afternoon than the sun came back out. It was a busy day at the store with a lot of out of town visitors. We almost broke the $200 dollar ceiling today.
Jo was volunteering at the historical museum next door. She got off at 3 and hung out until we closed up the store at 4 then we went to the Pizzeria for dinner which is just a couple of blocks down from the store in town. It has just started to drizzle when we left the store.
It was still drizzling when I left the Pizzeria but it is raining a little harder here at the house.
I left for Winston around 11 to meet the girls from the Firm for lunch at the Toastery. It was good to see them and have lunch together.
From there I ran a couple of errands then went on to my haircut appointment and back home.
It was in the low 80’s down there but the high up here is only in the upper 60’s. James was just finishing up mowing my neighbor’s yard when I got to the house. I went up to have a quick chat and pay him. Whew, long day.
Storms yesterday afternoon and last night brought around an inch and half of rain. This morning temperatures were in the upper 60’s with heavy fog.
The sun came out while I was at the gym When I got home George and Johnny were finishing up putting the deck floor in. He left the rails up until he can get the cables and mounting hardware in to replace those.
They finished up and had just left when the bottom fell out. It’s supposed to rain most the afternoon and tonight. I am working some more on the downstairs bookshelves today.
