George came this morning to drop off the boards for the deck. George had another job to do but he left his helper to tear out the old floor about three fourths of the way across. They will come back tomorrow and start putting in the new floor then tear out the other half and finish. That way I can leave the grill on the deck.
I went to the gym, library, and grocery store.
It’s cool today with temperatures in the low 70’s. Tonight the low is to be back down into the upper 50’s. Chance of storms this afternoon which may prevent James from mowing.
Mostly sunny today with temperatures in the low 80’s. We had a brief thunderstorm yesterday around 5 bringing a little over a half inch of rain. More chances of storms again this afternoon.
I changed the sheets on the bed then went downstairs to get started working on the finished part of the basement. George had finished all the work on the wall. I vacuumed all the rooms and started on the dusting. I moved around all the books on the four This End Up bookshelves so they could be dusted. The main room is dusted but I still need to do the bedrooms.
While putting the books back on the shelves I am clearing out more of the ones that were Bob’s to take to the bookstore or to Cares. I still have books to sort and re-shelve but called it quits for the day on that project this afternoon.

Off to the gym this morning then the drugstore stop on the way home.
I spent an hour or so outside doing the never ending chore of pulling weeds and grass from where it does not belong and deadheading flowers.

George came this morning to put a second coat of mud on the repaired wall area.
After he left I spent the morning in the yard pulling weeds, dead heading flowers, and watering plants as needed.
This afternoon making rice for stir fry for dinner and putting away clean dishes, etc.
