We worked more on the unfinished area today. We replaced three of the four wire closet shelves with our smaller brackets and boards. This made storage of small to medium sized bottles work better. We reduced the distance between the shelves giving us an additional two shelves. We left one wire shelf at the bottom for big stuff. We then put up more tracks to the right of those shelves to give us two wire shelves and two short board shelves. The household intercom system and the light switch restricted putting up a 4th 3″ trackĀ  for four full width wire shelves. Instead Bob cut the 4th track short. We installed two of the five foot wire shelves high and two of the three foot boards on three tracks below. All in all we now have 8 long shelves and two short for more storage.

We also moved the work tables to the other side of the room and put them side by side instead of end to end with an aisle in the middle. This also freed up more floor space. Finally we hauled my Nana’s old bed frame and boards we had against one of the walls to put in the attic. This gave us even more room and we now only have stuff in the unfinished area that is lab related.

There is still a little more organizing of chemicals and a couple of bins to empty but the lab area is almost complete.
