This morning Bob and I worked on cleaning up the disaster area downstairs, oops, I mean the finished area and kitchen. I had not been able to in there to clean in months (other than the bathroom) because he had boxes and bottles, and other stuff piled on the floor, the table, and any other flat surface he could cover. The kitchen (lab) looked even worse.

He worked very quickly getting things cleared up, put away, and empty boxes and bottles sorted for recycling. I swept cobwebs from the ceiling and walls, vacuumed his area plus the stairs and entryway, and dusted. We still need to vacuum and mop the lab floor but it looks much better down there.

I hauled the wrapping stuff from my office back down but cannot put it away until I take down the decorations.

Rain moved in over night. By mid-morning we already had an inch. It poured all morning bringing us close to two inches. The rain had moved on through bringing sunshine and 15 to 30mph winds this afternoon. It’s 51 degrees, feels like 48. Whew, had it been ten degrees colder it would have been either snow or ice.

With all the rain we’ve had I hope trees don’t start blowing over. I think this has to be the first time in a long time this area is close to our yearly rainfall amount. We have been have anywhere from four to six inch deficits. Even with the usual summer drought we have had a lot of rain this fall and the beginning of winter. It’s

Last night we started watching a show from our Netflix streaming queue, GRΣΣΚ. As with a lot of shows starring and directed toward younger audiences I was skeptical. It turns out it is somewhat like Gossip Girl but fraternity oriented. We finally finished up season 7 of Desperate Housewives. The final season is airing now.
