Very busy at work. I very rarely have to stay late but last night I had to work until 6:45 to help our paralegal. We had two big projects going at the same time with yesterday as a deadline. I was in the middle of one project and dropped it late yesterday afternoon to help her out with one of them while she continued with the other one.
I am not supposed to pull overtime but my attorney will approve it if necessary if cannot take time off later in the week for the extra hours. As it turns out the extra hours came in handy for this week since I was leaving at 2pm today to take the folks over to High Point for a hearing aid check. I had been taking short lunches to help make up the time but staying late last night covered it plus I still have a little extra that will allow me to leave half an hour tomorrow.
I am reading the second book by Annelise Ryan, Scared Stiff, on my Kindle. Bob had downloaded it for me awhile back but I wanted to read the first one in the series which I found at the library. She has third one out and a new one coming out later this year.
