Sunny and warmer today with a high in the mid to upper 30’s and breezy. Gusty winds again tonight. The yard is still covered in snow. Not sure when I will see the grass again. Some areas in the back fields have melted off. The cows are on the other side of the hill right now.
I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. Other than doing a load of towels this afternoon not sure what I will get into.

Lots of sunshine today and warmer with a high in the low 30’s and calm winds. We started out this morning at 13 degrees.
I worked the bookstore this morning. We had a few people in by the time I left. Hopefully a better afternoon than yesterday.
This afternoon it’s laundry and a few assorted household chores.
Cloudy and cold today. It was 18 this morning when I left for the bookstore. Today’s high is to be 23. Thankfully just a light wind. The winter storm coming up the coast is thankfully going to go south and east of us. We may get a few flurries or a light dusting but that will be it for awhile in terms of white stuff.
We were somewhat busy at the store yesterday. I worked all day until we closed. So far this morning we had not had any customers. Maybe it will pick up this afternoon for them this afternoon.
To Bob. I miss you everyday. Gone but not forgotten.
Warm today with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are in the low 40’s with just a light breeze. The sun peaks out every once in awhile. We may get some rain tonight with temperatures thankfully staying above freezing.
I checked in with Joyce this morning. She opened the bookstore. We get busy with folks who are able to get out and about. The afternoon volunteer said she was going to try to come in so I told Joyce I would stay home even though I could get out. I had tramped down the snow at the end of the driveway when I went out to get the mail.
I was back here working at my desk around noon. When I went back to the den my James, yard guy, was plowing my driveway. So, now I can get out if I need to.
The sun is out and temperatures have climbed into the low 30’s but it still feels like it’s in the mid 20’s.
Thankfully I do not have to be anywhere so no need to have someone come plow me out. The driveway is covered and the street plows have blocked my driveway with mounds of snow.
I have about 9 to 10 inches of snow here. Today we have 60 mph winds bringing the wind chill close to zero with the temps in the low 20’s. We may get some more snow this afternoon.
I threw some more seed out on the porch and sidewalk for the birds. I have a jigsaw puzzle going on the big table downstairs to work on off and on during the day.
