Cloudy today with temps in the low 30’s. We are under a winter storm warning for 9 to 14 inches depending on your elevation here in Sparta. The snow is supposed to start sometime this evening but the heavy snow moves in early tomorrow morning. I have everything I need to ride out the storm.

I volunteered at the bookstore this morning. We had a few customers in. They did get busy yesterday afternoon. The same may happen today.

Mostly sunny today with temps in the upper 30’s and breezy.

I volunteered at the bookstore this morning. I thought we might be busy with a big snow storm predicted to hit tomorrow but we did not have a single customer all morning.  I left around 12:45 when Keli came in. Perhaps they will get some customers this afternoon.

Cloudy today with temperatures in the low 40’s and calm winds right now. We may a shower this afternoon then tonight maybe some flurries and gusty winds.

I went to the gym and library this morning since tomorrow morning is somewhat iffy. Just hanging around the house this afternoon.

I volunteered at the bookstore. We had a few people in but otherwise it was slow day with customers and sales. While Joyce took down the Christmas books I priced and shelved a batch of donations.

Sunny today but cold and breezy. Temperatures in the low 30’s but still have wind chills in the 20’s.

I went to the grocery store this morning. Found lettuce and milk and a few odds and ends for the pantry. I talked to one of the guys stocking shelves where I was looking. We talked about the scarcity of products. As is evident, some weeks they get a lot of products not available for awhile and then not get any of stuff they were getting.

It’s also regional. One food item I was able to get at my Food Lion during the holidays Frances was not able to find at theirs in Winston.

This afternoon I changed the sheets and did a few odds and ends around the house. Otherwise, just a quiet day.

Sunny today with temperatures in the low 30’s but the wind gusts are in the 20 to 40 mph range making it feel like it is in the 20’s. Back down into the teens again tonight.

I went to the gym this morning and ran a couple of errands. Otherwise, not much else happening today.

I volunteered at the bookstore again today. The heat was not working yesterday. They were supposed to come fix it yesterday afternoon after I left. They did come but it was not working again this morning. The came back after lunch and worked on it  for awhile until they finally discovered what the problem was. Temperature in the store was 54 degrees. It had just about reached 60 when we closed up for the day but at least he got it working.

With the cold weather we were surprisingly busy off and on all day and ended up with $170 plus in sales. All and all a good day.

No precipitation over night but it is wicked cold. 13 degrees this morning with a wind chill down in the single digits. Today’s high is 21 and sunny but cold.

I worked at the bookstore this morning. We have several volunteers in for this afternoon so I came back home. Think I’ll do the laundry while I work some more on putting the rest of the stuff back out.
