I went down to Winston yesterday for a 1 pm MRI on my right knee. It’s been giving me problems off and on since January. Had an x-ray in March and the walk in clinic doctor at my ortho said it was tendon problem. It got better and then worse a few months ago. Finally saw my ortho docto who did my surgery and he ordered an MRI.
Since I had haircut and lunch with my friends from the Firm today I stayed down in Winston over night with Frances and Al.
This morning I did a Costco run. Shelves where fairly well stocked. Grabbed a pack of TP and paper towels plus a few pantry items and assorted other items.
Low in the upper 40’s last night. Today is sunny but chilly with highs in the low 50’s and 10 to 15 mph winds.
I went to the gym this morning then ran several errands. The heavy rain last week did in one of the mandeville’s. I had moved both of them to the front porch Saturday with the threat of high winds. This morning I dumped the one that drowned but the other one still looks nice so I left it on the front porch up by the house, The wind also did in one clump of my daisy like flowers out by the mailbox. I pulled those up but left the ones that are still looking okay.
48 degrees this morning. Lots of sunshine but 15 to 20 mph winds with temps in the low 50’s.
Other than going out to fill the bird feeders and water the mum it’s another indoor day.
I cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed, and dusted this morning, watered the plants, and did a few things here at my computer.
Mother Nature flipped the switch from warm to cold today. The high was this morning at 62 degrees. Temperatures are gradually falling the rest of the day down into the 40’s by tonight. We have our 15 to 20 mph winds back too. This morning we had a brief shower that came with the cold front but the clouds gradually clearing.
Otherwise just hanging out inside today doing the laundry.

I volunteered at the bookstore again today. We were very busy most of the day bringing in almost $150.00 dollars which is a very good day for sales.
Another nice fall day with temps in the low 70’s, sunshine, and a breeze.
Outdoor chores this morning. I cut back some perennials, pulled up weeds, and swept off the porch and sidewalks. In the garage I tidied up the cleaned pots and organized a few things on the shelves.
After getting cleaned up I headed into town to pick up a few things at the grocery store. A couple items I buy were on sale. I found everything I was looking for. Some shelves not as well stocked as others but they were busy stocking in a lot of aisles.
Guess James will be here this afternoon to mow. It’s high and green after all the rain from last week.
