I am reading A Fugitive Truth by Dana Cameron.

Warm, sunny, and humid this morning when I left for the bookstore around 10:30. It started pouring buckets around noon and rained off and on, heavy at times, all afternoon. Despite the rain we had a lot of folks in and out. It’s always interesting to ask people where they are from. We get visitors from all over the United States and occasionally from other parts of the world.

I left at 3 and it was just drizzling. We’ve had about an inch here so far but it’ still coming down.

Tuesday June 8, 2021

Partly sunny and humid with temps in the upper 70’s.

Went into to town this morning to pick up a bag of potting soil at the hardware store, stopped at the library to drop off and pick up books, and the grocery store. Only needed a few items to get me through the week.

Storms/rain is hit or miss. We had another brief shower last night and may or may not get some this afternoon or evening. I watered the hanging pots and all the stuff in the ground and on the deck just in case.

Partly sunny, breezy, and humid with temps in the mid 70’s. We had a brief shower over night. May get some rain/storms this afternoon. I will wait and see if we get something before I go out to water.

Went to the gym then came home and vacuumed/dusted.

Thursday June 3, 2021

Partly sunny, temps in the low 70’s and breezy, with a chance of storms.

I volunteered at the bookstore again today to help out Pat. She usually works with her sister but was working solo today. Again, a nice day with good sales and a lot of foot traffic.

Thankfully, the rain held off this afternoon. James finished mowing my yard and is working on Steve’s.

Another cloudy, cool, breezy day. May get some rain/thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight.

I volunteered at the bookstore from 11 to 3. We had steady traffic most of the day and did well with sales.

I am reading Drop Dead on Recall by Sheila Webster Boneham.

Cool weather for the first day of June. Partly sunny and breezy with temps in the mid 70’s.

Grocery store run this morning then spent some time outside doing a few odds and ends. Colin supervised while I swept bird seed and cob webs off the front porch and around the door, filled the bird feeders, and pulled the every present weeds from the natural areas.

Sunny and breezy today. It was 43 this morning when we went out. Today’s high in the mid 60’s.

I went to the gym this morning. Did a few odds and ends gardening chores.

This afternoon took care of the first of the month bills, balancing the checkbook, and updating my spreadsheets.
