62 degrees, sunny, and calm this morning.
I changed and wash the sheets, vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned the bathrooms then pulled out the fall decorations for the foyer table and set those up.
After lunch I cleaned up my desk, paid the bills, and worked on some other computer stuff. I put boneless ribs in the crock pot for dinner.
Warm and sunny with a slight breeze and low humidity today. No rain in sight. Things are starting to get a little dry.
62 degrees, sunny, and breezy this morning. Yesterday afternoon after I left the gym I stopped by the library to pick up the table and books for the farmer’s market this morning. Joyce and I filled in for Joe and Eileen. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and breeze. It warmed up into the upper 70’s but it was warm in the sun when the breeze died down.
Joyce and I both arrived at 7:40 to get set up. We stayed until about 12:15 when all the other vendors started packing up. Joyce hauled the stuff back to the bookstore, I came on home. Laundry and other assorted chores this afternoon.

68 degrees, sunny, and breezy this morning when I left for the gym. The gym was actually closed today to start on our renovation projects. Since I would be working today anyway I went in to help empty file cabinets, pack up stuff, etc. in the offices. Today the guys were laying the carpet in the two main hallways and they are painting the walls. We reopen tomorrow as usual. Staff will have to work with stuff piled on counters and just enough space to sit at the computer to check people in. It will be a mess next week since we will be open while they are laying carpet in our work spaces.
I worked from 8:30 to 2 pm. Sunny, warm, and very breezy today.
68 degrees, cloudy, and breezy when I left for the gym. Grocery store on the way home then back to the gym to work.
Mostly cloudy, warm, and breezy today. We are getting just the outer cloud bands from Dorian. We are too far north and west to get any rain as she skirts up the coast.
74 degrees and sunny when I left for Winston this morning. I did a Costco run to stock up on supplies I I use and like to keep extra on hand whether it be food, paper products, or personal items. From there I met my friend Jean for lunch at Village Tavern then back up the mountain for home.
It was hot down there at 92 and it’s hot up here at 85 with lots of sunshine.

61 degrees and sunny this morning. I volunteered at the bookstore this morning. The day started out cool but it’s warmed up into the low 80’s with low humidity, lots of sunshine, and a breeze.

Back home, I did some plant deadheading, etc. It’s a beautiful day with temperatures only in the upper 70’s for a high and a slight breeze.
I spent the an hour or so at my desk balancing the checkbook and paying the first of the month bills. I have a few odds and ends chores for the afternoon
Yesterday afternoon we drove over to Donna’s to see the baby goats. Since I was over there a couple of weeks ago she had another set of kids born. Frances held one of the goats and petted the others. Then she showed Frances the bunnies and ducks.
We came back home then went into town to Mis Arados for dinner and a stop at Food Lion to pick up a few things.
After a leisurely morning they left around 10:30 to head back home. I vacuumed and cleaned the bathrooms.
It’s a little more cloudy and breezier today than yesterday but still a nice, warm day.
67 degrees, sunny, and calm this morning.
Frances and Al came up last night arriving around 7:30.
We spent the morning in the yard. Al brought up his battery powered tree limb trimmer. He trimmed up the low hanging branches on the pines that line the fence, thinned out the dead branches in the apple tree, and lopped of a few low hanging branches from the trees along the back fence line. James has a good sized pile of brush to haul of when he has time.
It’s another beautiful day with temperatures in the low 80’s, lots of sunshine, and a slight breeze.

60 degrees, sunny, and calm this morning when I left for the gym. Another beautiful day but warmer than yesterday. I worked my midday shift at the gym. It warmed up to 80 degrees this afternoon but lows in the 50’s again tonight.
